Part one:
Talked to the dealer. My service advisor was rude,
unhelpful, combative, and hung up on me when I asked to talk to his manager. I was agast, as I tend to be very nice on the phone to the point of letting people walk all over me. Until I catch on to the fact that they're walking all over me. Then I get pissed off. Well. I was pissed off now.

Part two:
Talked to the dealer again. My service advisor apologized profusely and promises to have the work done by tonight, and apologized again.

... I'm understanding that we (most) are human and that we all have bad days, it's just a real shame when that carries over to customer interactions. Were I a normal customer, I'd have flown off the handle and been 10x harder to satisfy.

I can only hope that this is the case of one bad service advisor in an otherwise decent dealership.
