I havn't been sleeping all that well lately. I'm getting to sleep just fine, but I keep waking up throughout the night. Of course I wake up when Keman comes to bed, usually an hour or two (I think?) after I fall asleep, but then I also wake up a few more times for no apparent reason. When I have trouble getting to sleep, Ambien usually helps, but even with that I still wake up sometimes. This leaves me tired and un-energetic throughout the day.

I had a dream last night that I was taking a final exam in an English class, for my graduate degree. Tomorrow night, I have a final in a CS class, but I can't imagine why I'd be dreaming about an English final, of all things. I wasn't doing too well, either. :(

you might want to look into something called 'sleep apnea'

It's definitely not sleep apnea.
Not only do I know people who have it and get treatment for it ... I'm not sure if I could sleep in the same room if Galen had it.
I'm a fairly light sleeper and Galen, thankfully, basically never snores.
I did catch him talking in his sleep the other night tho.. :)

My opinion of Galens sleep is that it's his excessive caffeine intake starting to create problems. He has.. a bit of.. lets call it a 'habit' .. :)

Sleep apnea doesn't necessarily manifest itself as snoring. It's the condition of stopping breathing during the night. I get it every once in a while, and so does my fox. (then again, I tend to get it after I've had a lot of pot.)

I've been having some EXCEPTIONALLY odd dreams recently. The first one was basically a view of how God (yes, I'm talking about the creative force whose name in Hebrew literally means 'be') could have gotten so pissed off at the Jews, enough to strike the Fear of God into them... basically, if they didn't believe in the wonder of their existence, they stopped existing.

Last night, I had a dream that Erik and I turned $100 into $35,000 at a casino. And then that the owner of the casino called the cops on us. :P

Keman has, at times, been up for quite a while after I've gone to sleep. I think it's pretty likely that if I had sleep apnea, he would notice. No, I think it's just a case of me still getting adjusted to having someone sleeping next to me, such that every movement he makes wakes me up. Then there's Saku, who sometimes scratches at his kennel, or at the bedroom door, or at whatever hard surface is next to where he's sleeping. Those noises also wake me.

Last night, I slept decently well.
