Trying to fill 4+ positions at work

EDIT: Degrees are preferred but not required.

My company is looking to hire as many as 4-5 people immediately, for the following positions. ALL positions require US Citizenship, and most require the ability to get a DOD security clearance. All positions are in Alexandria / Arlington, VA. Some are at our HQ in Alexandria, some are at customer sites in Rosslyn (Arlington) or at the Pentagon. .NET / Web Developer 1-2 positions available
Web Application Developer, Windows Environment. Minimum 4 years recent experience developing web applications, including 1-2 years for the .NET framework. This position requires detailed design, coding, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation of web applications. Candidates should be able to generate application as-built.

Experience must include advanced technical skills in C#,ASP.NET, or VB.NET. MS SQL Server and/or Oracle database experience is also a plus.

Developer will be working as a member of a team, designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. Work will be performed at our facilities in Alexandria, VA.

Business Intelligence Analyst 1 position available
Dynamic, forward-thinking company seeks an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to design, develop, implement, and support analytic and reporting solutions for our federal clients. The projects will involve integrating data from a wide range of financial and logistics data sources. The select candidate will play an integral role interfacing with end users and other team members on all aspects of solution implementation.


• 3+ years of experience designing, developing and maintaining databases
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• In-depth familiarity with MS SQL Server and other RDBMS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team
• Recent experience with business intelligence solutions such as Hyperion, Business Objects or Cognos
• Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• (recommended but NOT required) BA or BS degree in a related field or an equivalent level of knowledge

Systems Analyst 2 positions available
Summary: Provides design, development, testing, documentation and implementation support for a web-based budget, financial, logistics and manpower systems supporting our federal customers

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Work with system end users to determine application requirements
2. Record system requirement through a series of formal documents that describe operational attributes and discrete system modules
3. Develop data flow diagraphs that depict the processes and data in the system
4. Prepare written test plans to simulate system behavior in a variety of operational and technical environment
5. Conduct unit and system testing to detect system deficiencies, and record test results within an automated defect tracking system
6. Generate and perform QA checks on system documentation
7. Support product briefings and demonstrations as necessary
8. Generate system interface specifications for automated data exchange with external applications
9. Conduct research and document findings relating to future development alternatives and enhanced system features

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Knowledge of PC hardware architecture
2. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2003/XP), Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
3. Ability to apply formal procedures through all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
4. Knowledge of system design techniques, including functional specifications, testing procedures/documentation, etc.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Flexibility and a sense of humor

Education & Experience:
1. At least 2-3 years experience, plus the ability to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Oracle Database Administrator 1 position available
Summary: Innovative, forward-thinking IT Company is seeking an experienced, like-minded Oracle DBA. The DBA is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and technical support of databases supporting web-based applications.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, administration, performance tuning, upgrading and cloning of multiple Oracle RDBMS 9i and 10g databases
2. Define, develop and document standardized database procedures, tools, backup and recovery methods, performance tuning methods and disaster planning.
3. Design, develop and implement complex physical databases across multiple platforms.
4. Manage data sourcing, migration, quality, design, and implementation.
5. Design, enter, audit and maintain database schema. Responsible for verifying data to be entered into database meets set standards and requirements through the use of database triggers and standard data load scripts.
6. Assist developers in stored procedures and complex queries as well as requirements analysis, systems design, system development, and documentation
7. Evaluate vendor and third party application software and hardware for feasibility.
8. Design, test and implement database security measures in accordance with the customer requirements
9. Maintain user accounts and controls user access levels. Enforce the appropriate constraints, roles and object permissions to satisfy necessary data and security requirements.
10. Consult with IT staff and clients to determine the impact of new or revised applications on information architecture.
11. Manage small and medium database projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Thorough understanding of database design principles
2. Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues.
