Now that's interesting... the score displayed now is lower than it originally was... When I first posted, it showed a 147. Now it's showing an 84.

I swear, I nearly peed myself when I finally got around to reading my LJ and saw all the results posted and realized what was going on. I took it myself, and it was kinda fun, but any "IQ test" without a time measurement is essentially bunk-- and the problems were a little easier than the ones I'm used to.

Still, it was kinda fun. :>

PS. Personally, I don't believe IQ tests are worth a damn. My IQ is/was considered to be pretty high, as a teen- but it's knowledge and wisdom, and the application of knowledge tempered with wisdom that truly shows our worth. It's all just pattern recognition anyway- and this test was particularly easy. Should have been a tip-off for most. Well, that and the rabbit. ;> And the little encouraging bits. And the final banner. And the total lack of any sort of time-based system of measurement. Still fun, though. :>

The test was rigged so that even if you answered every question wrong (Chinese is to Asian as Italian is to Duck!), you would still get a high score.

You know, this isn't specifically directed at you, cpt, but in your general direction:

I really hate it when someone replies to a reasonably concise, somewhat carefully considered post with something totally inane and at most tangentally related, like they're enlightening me on some finer point of which I am unaware. "You know, Mr. Luther King, Freud always said that dreams were just an expression of repressed desires."

Now, MLK I am not, but howabout actually reading what the heck I'm saying and assuming, whether true or not, that I might actually have half a clue before deciding that, somehow, I wasn't aware the test was a farce or that the answers had any bearing. Howabout actually taking the time to read that I was pointing out indications that one might find to show that the 'test' was , one way or another, not legit before one continued with it?

Howabout actually giving a little bit of credit to someone rather than assuming that the whole world is more ignorant or less intelligent than yourself?

<3 Kisses
