That definitely hurt less than the nipples...

Added the second, upper ring. We'll see if I get adventurous enough to
explore a third some day in the cartilage territory. I hear it makes for
a very crunchy noise when getting pierced. Hear. Hah! I kill me...

Oh and btw. I figured I'd add- honestly I dunno any good way to stop a
baby from crying. I think the point at which the parents bring the kid
to the restaurant, all hope is lost.

You need an industrial ^.~

And.. I had the answer. Long ago, I proposed: "Baby ball gags".. mandatory in any public place. Kinda like california's smoking laws.

Alternatively, for the parents who want their kid to have everything-- the baby low-pass filter. Soft knee from 600hz-1khz, hard knee above 1.5khz. Uses a phase-shifted 'anti-noise' in addition to passive noise cancellation of ~30db. Can be used instead of the ball gag, but allows the baby to mouth-breathe and cry in an 'indoor voice'.

I should stretch my piercings a bit.. go a couple gauges larger on the ears and get my third.. once these are totally healed. Then maybe a clasp on the cartiledge (Don't really want it pierced)with a little chain to connect them. Dunno. ^^

I'm actually thinking about an inner ear piercing on my right ear now.. what is often called an inner conch ring. It's the kind that go through the "bowl" shaped area, dissapearing behind the ear as it comes around the front. I really like the way it looks and I think it'd level out my ear piercings. For now ...

I figure five is the earliest parents can take a child to a public place to dine. It is vital that the child gets some practical instruction before he/she reaches, say, 13 years old. I've seen the results of a cloistered child; not pretty.

But you're also right about parents not disciplining noisesome children. They should be cussed out. *Nod* Yup.

By the way, I met you at the New Year's houseparty. I'm that big dude with stubble and the recently-shaved head who sat near the bong and hadn't seen Spaceballs before.

If you do get an inductrial - don't do it at Jinx Proof in DC - they really *really* messed up my friend's piercing.

Heheh... i miss getting pierced. I'm so addicted, and so running out of places to put holes... :-)

Re: Mrow..
I'd love to get an industrial, now that I know what they are. But. I'm not sure I want the pain and healing process right now. That'd certainly level out my right ear if I got one in it. And fuck if it wouldn't look awesome (IMO) in the "Blurple" titanium color that all my other piercings use. But. So much pain ... so much healing ... that throbbing sensation at night would really suck.

Think I'm gonna get an inner conch ring in that ear instead, for now. Maybe in a month or so. I'm told healing time is verrry fast.

Re: Mrow..
I've always really wanted to get that piercing (the inner conch)... been too wussy to do it, but it may end up happening sometime soon for me, too. :-)

Also - i love that you use the word blurple - and i love that titanium... mmmmsexy.

Where do you get your piercings?
