What a ride...

So yesterday is all like a bad dream now.

I've got three different prescription allergy meds. Each designed for a different oriface. (No, nothing for down *there*)

It's strange, that allergies can effect me so emotionally. When they were so extreme, it made everything seem like a cause for panic. I had absolutely no tolorance to any concept that was irritating. The world felt like it was coming to an end. I was completely incapable of sitting back and just ignoring it all.

Emotions are strange. I can control them, sometimes. Others ... they control me.

Yeah, your physical health can play an amazing role in how well you deal with things emotionally. Allergies, sickness, nutrition/sleep.... all of them weigh in heavily in how well you handle stuff.

*nose* hope all the meds make life easier on ya :)

It takes a certain amount of 'energy', or perhaps a better word would be 'buffer zone', to be able to manage emotions. When your physical health has deteriorated, it takes a huge amount of that buffer zone just to go out and do things (like go to work) -- and without enough of a buffer zone, you feel like everything is catching you off-guard and is specifically meant to hurt /you/. (After all, you're physically not well -- and the predators prey on the sick and slow.) It's hard-coded into our responses.

Just a thought. :)

maby its some ones way of helping you build more of a tollerance for annoying things. especally when there isnt much you can do but suck it up and take it.
